Auto Close Service Request

🔹 Description

• A service request will be automatically closed if it remains pending for approval for more than 25 days with any approval member.

🔹 Condition

• If any approval member does not take action within 25 days, the system will automatically close the service request.
• The 25-day count starts from the time the request is assigned to the approver.

🔹 Example Scenario

• A service request has 2 approval members.
• The first approver (Priya1234) has not taken any action.
• The approval request was assigned on 04/12/2025.
• Since more than 25 days have passed without any update, the system will automatically close the request.

🔹 System Actions on Auto Closure

1. Request Status Update

• -The service request status will be updated to Closed.

2. History Maintenance

• A record will be inserted into the request history.

History Message:

• Your service request has been automatically closed due to pending approval. Please raise a new request if required

3. Email Notification

An email notification will be sent to the request creator.

• CC: Configured global alert email (if enabled)
